Privacy Policy — Clearpath Accessibility

What we collect

When you install Clearpath Accessibility, we store: your shop's domain, an access token Shopify issues to the app, accessibility scan results for your storefront (issues found, scores, page URLs), backups of theme files you ask us to modify, and a log of fixes applied so they can be undone.

We do not collect or store your customers' personal data. Scans read only your public storefront pages.

How we use it

Solely to provide the app's features: scanning, reporting, applying and undoing fixes, and generating accessibility statements. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Service providers

Hosting: Fly.io (Frankfurt, EU). AI alt-text generation: Anthropic — when you request alt text, the product image and product title are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a suggestion; Anthropic does not train on this data per their commercial terms.

Data deletion

Uninstalling the app revokes its access immediately. Shopify sends us a deletion request 48 hours after uninstall, upon which all stored data for your shop is erased. You can also email us for immediate deletion.
